Acolate SR Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Acolate SR Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Acolate SR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acolate SR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Acolate SR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Acolate SR Tablet is used in the treatment of cough.
How to use Acolate Tablet SR
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acolate SR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Acolate SR Tablet works
Acolate SR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and ambroxol that relieve cold symptoms. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
Common Stomach upset, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Fatigue, Sleepiness, Allergic reaction.
